Are you interested in training as a secondary school teacher in Essex? It's not too late to apply to start in September. We still have vacancies in 14 different subjects:
We carefully read every application form we receive through UCAS and for the candidates who are shortlisted, we hold regular interview days in Braintree. The feedback we receive from the candidates about the interview process is overwhelmingly positive.
Mid Essex ITT has been featured in a full page article in the Essex Chronicle.
If you haven't worked in a school before, we recommend that you arrange a visit to a school(s) whilst you are planning your application. It is an excellent way to find out if teaching is the career for you, plus it gives you some fantastic things to talk about at interview.
We're excited to be welcoming 45 new trainee teachers on to our course this week! Covering 12 subjects and working with 18 different schools, Mid Essex ITT is bigger and better than ever. Would you like to train with us in 2016? Sign up for your free information pack from UCAS now.
As part of the training year, our trainees visit a primary school, a school in challenging circumstances and a special school. The visits give the trainees an insight into a setting which is very different to their current placement school.
According to the Good Teacher Training Guide we are the top performing secondary provider in Essex. Go team MEITT!
