Nicole Morrish

Religious Studies Lead Subject Mentor

Nicole Morrish

Nicole graduated with a degree in Philosophy and History from Cardiff University in 2007. It was at Moulsham High School (MHS) that she completed a GTP in Religious Studies.

She started her teaching career at MHS too and has remained at the school, having been offered a range of opportunities in her time there. Nicole is currently the Head of the PERCS (Philosophy, Ethics, Religion, Citizenship and Sociology) Faculty, where she teaches pupils in years 7-13 across the range of the aforementioned subjects. She is passionate about teaching subjects that enable pupils to question the world around them and evaluate controversial topics.

Nicole has also been heavily involved with MHS’s Outstanding Teacher Programme, and she is the whole-school lead for British Values, SMSC and Healthy Schools. She has previously held the role of professional mentor for trainees and NQTs at MHS too.

Nicole took over as Lead Subject Mentor for Religious Studies in September 2020, and she is looking forward to using her experience of teaching Religious Studies, and her leadership skills, to support trainees in their training year.
