Every Thursday our trainees get together for General Professional Studies (GPS) in the morning, which involves training in many aspects of the teaching profession as a whole. But in the afternoon they dedicate themselves to their chosen subject with their Lead Subject Tutor (LST). 

This subject-specific training can involve all sorts of things and every week will be different. This week saw some cake making in the Design Tech classrooms, for example, and our PE trainees making the most of the much-needed sunshine with a tennis workshop! Whatever the subject, you can guarantee that our trainees are kept up to date and knowledgeable in all areas of their chosen subject.
