We at Mid Essex ITT are delighted that the story of one of our former trainees has been featured in NASBTT's nationwide search for "hero trainees".
NASBTT (the National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers) are looking for trainees who have played an important and effective part in post-Covid recovery in schools.
The organisation is searching in particular for those who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, and for people who might have faced and overcome adversity.
Regine Binder trained with Mid Essex ITT last year in MFL at Hedingham School, and ticked all of these boxes. We nominated her and now her story, written by our course tutor Keith Ferguson, is available to read here. Her colleagues have described her as an "inspiration" and we are very proud. Well done Reggie!
